NOVA Chemicals CEO to Present at 2021 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Summit
Calgary, AB (January 15, 2021) – NOVA Chemicals Corporation (“NOVA Chemicals”) today announced that CEO Luis Sierra will present at the virtual 2021 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Summit. The summit brings together global leaders from policy, business and technology to discuss and define solutions and accelerate the world’s sustainable development.
Sierra will speak on the panel “The Circular Economy and the End of Unchecked Consumption” on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at 20.55 – 21.30 GST (11:55 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. EST). He will discuss the role consumers, industry and policy makers play in driving a circular economy and the important levers that will enable industrial transformation and systems-level change.
Sierra will be joined by Stientje van Veldhoven-van der Meer, State Secretary for Infrastructure and Water Management, Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (Government of the Netherlands); and Ron Gonen, Chief Executive Officer, Closed Loop Partners (U.S.A.).
