Rajesh Gopalakrishnan

Rajesh Gopalakrishnan is a member of the Finance Leadership team at Mubadala Investment Company. He is the Chief Financial Officer of the Direct Investments Platform and sits on the Platform Investment Committee.  

A tenured finance professional with 25+ years of diversified industry experience, Rajesh has been with Mubadala for 15+ years; during which time he has held multiple leadership roles, as Head of Group Financial Controllership and Reporting, being the Finance Director at the Petroleum and Petrochemicals business platform and most recently being the CFO for the Direct Investments platform.  Prior to joining Mubadala, Rajesh has worked with multiple companies across diverse industries, including Abu Dhabi Polymers Co. Ltd . (Borouge), Waha Capital PJSC and Mahindra & Mahindra Limited.

Rajesh previously was an audit committee member of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

He holds a number of professional qualifications; a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant from the United States as well as Cost and Management Accountant from India. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree In Financial Accounting and Auditing from Bombay University.
