The Technology Center and associated pilot plant facilities were consolidated in Beaver Valley
in 1998 with an investment of over $11 million.

Activities at the Technology Center include long-term platform development of new families of Styrenics products and near-term focused development work driving the growth of high value-added applications of NOVA Chemicals Styrenics products for our customers. This center also provides the home base for business support activities
such as technical service and manufacturing support for our styrenics resin production facilities.
