To maintain our capability of leading-edge research, we recently expanded our research base at the NOVA Chemicals Research and Technology Centre in Calgary. The $8 million (CDN) expansion increased our polyethylene lab space and included state-of-the-art equipment.
Activities at NRTC include research and development on polyethylene, styrenic polymers, petrochemicals, pipelines and the environment. We focus on developing higher quality, lower-cost processes and higher-value products for NOVA Chemicals' customers.
