Spring/Fall 2008 Soil Enhancement Program:
Our Spring Soil Enhancement Program transported over 500 truckloads of product to four quarters of land located to the north and west of the Joffre Site. This program, which has been in operation since 2003, utilizes the lime by-product from our operations to treat acidic soils and enhance their agricultural capability. It is value-added to our community and offers an environmentally sound way to handle this material while reducing storage and waste management costs.

The Fall 2008 Program, commencing in late August, will total approximately 150 truckloads of product proposed for a location west of the Joffre Site.

For details, please read our fact sheet or to participate in the program contact Al Kennedy at 403.314.8639.
