Working at the Joffre Site

Deb Jarvis, People Leader People — our collective intelligence and competitive edge.
We believe business results are important and strive to deliver excellence to our customers. This is achieved by people.

A strong employee team environment encourages innovative thinking, creativity, and self-development.

Recognizing there is more than one way to get the job
done, we believe different operational styles and cultural
and educational backgrounds result in better solutions.
Our responsible operations ethic creates a safe, socially responsible work site where our people are proud to work.

Working With Us
We offer employees dynamic career opportunities, and an outstanding technical work environment. We use advanced technological approaches to design, maintain and operate our manufacturing facilities.

Our leadership is committed to results, and we reward based on contribution and performance. NOVA Chemicals offers a total compensation package that includes competitive salaries, flexible benefits, excellent relocation and alternative work arrangements.

Central Alberta offers many life-style options. Located 20 minutes east of the City of Red Deer, our site is surrounded by many smaller communities. The following are local web sites with helpful community information: www.city.red-deer.ab.ca, www.centralalberta.ab.ca, www.albertafirst.com.

Working toward the future
Each year, we hire co-op/internship students and new graduates in disciplines like engineering, chemical and plastics technology, information technology and business. We focus on mentoring students to ensure continuous development and a rewarding experience. If you are interested contact your co-op/internship office.
